“I Banchi” offers several varieties of bread and baked products. They all represent the fruit of important training experiences in those Sicilian mills constantly searching for lost or disused wheat varieties.
We produce Ragusa bread, Castelvetrano bread, whole wheat bread made with organic local flours. Sometimes, “I Banchi” will also bake special bread, such as Matera bread or French baguette.
“As long as there is some left, bread is good” is our motto. Words not meant for effect, but rather very meaningful. When homemade bread is not consumed immediately, it can be wrapped in cling film and stored in the fridge, even for a week, maintaining its organoleptic properties. It can be toasted and savored with honey, or sugar and ricotta, becoming a tasty and healthy breakfast.
