Bruno Ribadi Brewery supports the Design per le feste (Design for the festivals) project, realised in collaboration with I Banchi, and the 2019 course of Modeling and Architecture’s Representation of the Academy of Fine Arts “Rosario Gagliardi” in Syracuse – MADE, led by tutors Francesco Moncada and Mafalda Rangel. The WELCOME installation, inspired by the Cavalcade of San Giuseppe di Scicli in the Volte room, is the one dedicated to the Bruno Ribadi Brewery.
«Beer is a company drink that is drunk from eighteen years onwards – says Vito Biundo of the Bruno Ribadi Brewery – which does not replace wine, but it comes next to it when you want a change. A few years ago, we started out of passion to make beer at home. Today, our craft beers are tasted, spreading around the love for Sicily». The Bruno Ribadi Brewery produces six labels: Pilsner (travel to Bohemia) India Pale Al (travel to India) Special Ale (travel to England) Bianca (travel to Belgium) Sicilian Pale Ale (travel to Sicily), Tripal (residence in the Abbey).
The history of Bruno Ribadi is written in his diary, fortunately rediscovered in the Cinisi countryside. The story of a traveler, welcomed as an orphan in a monastery, which covers about fifty years of life and who dreams of transferring his knowledge as a brewer to the island. He will not succeed, but he will push others to do it, people who will celebrate him with his name and surname and offering him the role of a “rebel” from the seventies.
