Gambero Rosso awards I Banchi 3 breads

 

The new Pane & Panettieri d’Italia 2022 guide of Gambero Rosso confirmed the maximum score of 3 breads for I Banchi, a result obtained by 50 bakeries in Italy and 4 in Sicily.
I Banchi bakes daily organic bread (that lasts many days, wrapped in cling film and stored in the fridge), leavened products, pizza, Ragusan scacce, Perpetua cake, and a selection of biscuits made with flour of ancient Sicilian organic grains (Tumminia, Perciasacchi, Majorca, Integrale).
The biscuits, prepared only with certified ingredients, are perfect to enjoy for breakfast and as a snack. The use of organic ingredients is part of a wider eco-sustainable project that involves the products of www.cicciosultanoshop.it and the daily practices of I Banchi, bakery with kitchen. Not to forget, among other eco actions, there is the use of purified water, energy-saving habits and the elimination of plastic.
