Summer is a drink

 

There are two summer drinks, proposed and made by Mattia Lorenzo, the sommelier and barman of the Banchi. These two cocktails represent the Sicilian summer between Baroque and Ottoman suggestions. The first and a tribute to the city of Banks is “Ibla Sunrise”, a mix of granita and lemon juice, Mezcal Alipus, Fever-Tree soda, and flavoured with Angostura and Jamaican Jerk Bitters. The second cocktail is “Acqua di Rose”, based on an infusion of roses with purified water from Aquanova, including Ginarte, lemon juice and Damask rose. Both are to be enjoyed on the terrace under the oleanders, accompanied by an incredible variety of tapas.
